On June 20, 2026, our engineering team successfully completed the installation and commissioning of the complete chocolate moulding and packaging line in Colombia; the system passed final acceptance and was successfully handed over.
The project encompassed the full range of chocolate processing equipment—covering depositing, cooling, demolding, and packaging—thereby upgrading the client’s operations from semi-manual to fully automated production.
Client Challenges:
Prior to the upgrade, the client utilized a semi-automated production model. The molding, demolding, and packaging stages relied heavily on manual labor, resulting in limited efficiency, lengthy changeover times between product sizes, and inconsistent quality control. As order volumes grew, the conflict between rising labor costs and production capacity bottlenecks became increasingly acute.
Solution:
We tailored an integrated chocolate moulding production line for the Colombian enterprise, capable of rapid mold changes to produce three different sizes of chocolate.
The equipment integrates a high-precision servo-molding system, a multi-layer progressive cooling tunnel, a pneumatic flexible demolding mechanism, and a fully automatic flow-wrapping unit, achieving a seamless, unmanned workflow from liquid mass to finished packaging.
Additionally, the control system features a user-friendly HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and one-touch recipe recall, significantly reducing product changeover times.
Successful Delivery:
Our engineering team completed on-site installation and commissioning within two weeks and provided systematic training for the client’s operators and maintenance staff.
During the trial run, the equipment operated smoothly; the molding weight deviation was controlled within ±0.5g, the demolding integrity rate reached 99.8%, and packaging speeds consistently met the designed capacity. The client provided photos of the actual processing and finished products, offering high praise for the system.
